Bristol Design Build Wins Upgrade Contract for Ohio VA Medical Center
On September 30, Bristol Design Build Services, LLC (Bristol Design Build), was awarded an $11.2 million firm-fixed-price construction contract to update the heating system at the Chillicothe Veterans Administration Medical Center, in Chillicothe, OH.
The contract (#W912HN-09-C-0074) was awarded to Bristol Design Build by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Savannah District, Charleston Office, Charleston, S.C.
This design build construction contract calls for replacing existing boilers with new pressurized vessel units sized to meet the steam production needs for the facility. The boilers will be housed in a new building at the Chillicothe facility. The USACE estimates a completion date of Oct. 2011.
