Office/Administrative Support
Our Administrative Support team includes office managers in Anchorage, Marysville, Fort Lewis and Sneads Ferry, as well as a team of receptionists and administrative assistants, proposal assistants and others. The team primarily provides support for Bristol Industries’ needs, and may also be available to assist individual Bristol companies when fill-in or project-based support is needed.
Financial Operations / Accounting
In addition to providing routine Accounts Payable and Payroll processing for all Bristol Alliance companies, the Bristol Industries Accounting Department has a division devoted to project-based accounting. Having a single experienced accounting team working on all Bristol company accounts means greater efficiency and accuracy for all.
Shareholder Outreach
The BI Shareholder Outreach program provides a variety of programs designed to increase employment and job training opportunities for Bristol Bay Native Corporation shareholders. Our Shareholder Outreach programs include internships, job shadowing opportunities, educational outreach, and corporate involvement programs. Information Technology/GIS
Bristol Industries’ Information Technology department provides all Bristol Alliance employees with a network-based infrastructure for file storage/retrieval, and backup, as well as interoffice communications via e-mail, Internet, Intranet and FTP. The department provides regular maintenance and user support, as well as supporting special requests, such as project-based FTP sites for the exchange of large files, making project management and digital image sharing more efficient.
Our responsive and dedicated staff is based in Alaska, with a regional technical services manager in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, making for exceptional IT support that spans U.S. time zones.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
On the framework of a comprehensive and secure IT infrastructure, our Geographical Information System (GIS) database management experts have the capabilities to employ cutting-edge computer technologies/software to support our clients and their specialized needs. Using database management and GIS software, our GIS team can prepare models or create maps, to interpret results and trends. We use the latest database management software to prepare models and GIS software to create maps, and interpret results and trends.
Related capabilities include Mobile GIS, a combination of GIS and GPS technology that enables in-the-field data collection, navigation, and interpretation. Mobile GIS also makes possible dynamic updates of data, as needed, and the ability to store and access backup resources from the field. Bristol has used this capability in conjunction with a mobile field computer for a variety of projects, from a wetlands delineation along 450 miles of gas line to the mapping of hundreds of monitoring wells on military lands.
Publications and Communications
Our Creative Services and Document Production teams work together to serve Bristol Alliance companies and their clients with planning, writing and formatting/design of print and multimedia materials intended for both general and specialized audiences.
Document Production specializes with the preparation of technical reports and documents and associated multimedia (such as PDFs and CDs), to meet government/client specifications. The division includes a technical editor and a document formatter, as well as a production assistant who also works with our other publications division, Creative Services.
Creative Services is responsible for the creation of marketing publications, web content and other multimedia marketing materials for the Bristol Alliance companies. The department maintains an Intranet-based library of marketing materials and is responsible for the web presence of all the Bristol Alliance companies.
Creative Services is also available to work with Bristol Alliance companies on projects where public information campaigns or materials may be needed.
