How to Contract with a Bristol Company
Most Bristol companies are supported by Karen Forsland and Joyce Courtney of the Alaska Small Business Administration. In addition to the usual contracting vehicles, almost all of the Bristol companies also offer the opportunity for ANC 8(a) Program contracts and meet the small business classification in both construction and engineering NAICS codes. (Bristol Environmental & Engineering Services has graduated from the 8(a) program.) For specifics, see the individual Bonding/SBA Status pages for each company.

In support of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER), Office of Underground Storage Tanks (OUST), to ensure leaking underground storage tanks in Indian Country throughout the United States no longer pose a threat to human health or the environment.  Scope includes evaluation of LUST-eligible sites, site assessment, site characterization, remediation and other technical support to the EPA (cost-reimbursable term contract).

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District - MATOC for Construction and/or Design Build of Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility (TEMF) in the Northwest Region

Performance Period: 3 year term 6/2008 – 6/2011
Awarded the first Task Order (Seed Project) at Ft. Lewis.  Work to begin Fall 2008
MATOC for construction and/or design build of Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facilities in the Northwest Region, including the states of Colorado, Indiana, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. TEMFs are used for the maintenance, repair and storage of military tactical vehicles and equipment. The facilities are usually part of an overall complex centered on a vehicle maintenance facility. A major part of most projects will include extensive concrete hardstand and fencing. Development of the facility may also include associated site development.
